Dan Brown is the author of the bestselling Robert Langdon series, which follows a Harvard professor of symbology who must solve clues and codes in a race against the clock in each installment. Perhaps most famous is "The Da Vinci Code," Brown's first bestselling novel and the one that drew the ire of the Catholic Church. But as Hannah, Tyler, and special guest cohost Aly Fitzgerald learned, Brown's religious views are much more complicated than the prevailing narrative would have you believe.
We also discuss his childhood, early music career (spoiler: it involves a lot of synthesizers), and acrimonious divorce.
