Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience (2022-05-11) - Live from Turin and the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 (Part 2)
Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 0059 hours CET. The show is also broadcast on SWITCH Radio Essex in the United Kingdom live on Wednesday evenings from 1900 - 2300 hours CET as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International with an interactive chatroom.
AT A GLANCE - ON THE SHOW THIS WEEK
Eurovision Song Contest 2022 - Semi Final 2 Preview: The Rehearsals for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 are in full swing and Radio International's JP and some members of the Team of Radio International are in Turin at Europe's biggest music competition collecting more interviews and stories for the show. Semi Final 1 took place on Tuesday 10 May 2022 and upcoming is Semi Final 2 on Thursday 12 May 2022 and the Top Ten of both Semi Finals will meet the Big 5 countries including the Host Country Italy in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 on Saturday, 14 May 2022.
Also this week the show comes from Turin, Italy, the home of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 and JP will be playing all the 18 songs competing in Semi Final 2 and the Radio International Jury has been invited once again to comment on the songs and cast their votes on each of the songs including the countries that are already in the Grand Final and vote in Semi Final: Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. At the end of the show the result will be announced by JP how the Radio International Jury judged on the songs of Semi Final 2.
Also part of the show is the Eurovision Birthday File, The Eurovision Coverspot both presented by David Mann from Studio 3 in London and Tom Carr joins JP for the Eurovision Spotlight where Tom will be taking a look at 1991 which was the year that Italy last hosted the Eurovision Song Contest.
