In this episode we point out some of the mental health disparities that exist in the African American community. We discuss our own mental health journeys, struggles, and what we have learned about ourselves.
And we highlight BEAM, the Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective that is working to create a world where there are no barriers to Black healing. BEAM is a national training, movement building, and grant making institution dedicated to the healing, wellness, and liberation of Black and marginalized communities.
