My dad used to tell me that I should never expect anything because then I wouldn't be disappointed. I think that is a horrible way to through life. Optimism is one of the things that bring joy to life and with that comes expectations (But that is a topic for a different conversation).
Disappointment is also part of life. We have to figure out how to deal with the emotions and move on. Anita Toth, Walker McKay and Keji Moses were kind enough to share some of their disappointments and how they have moved on from them.
There is so much packed into this short conversation.
We would love to know, how do you pick yourself up after a disappointment?
