What makes something bragging?

This conversation started in the comments section on LinkedIn with John Mollison. He told me that a decorated war veteran said, "It ain't braggin' if you've done it."

It seems to me that the more accomplished I become the more it sounds like bragging when I talk about it.

Michael Sicuranza and James H. Lee joined in for an amazing conversation about accomplishment, bragging and at the very end we touched on if there is a gender difference.
