For extra credit Kyla and Kristen also tried to read Shoshana Zuboff’s “The Age of Surveillance Capitalism”, as Doctorow wrote his piece in large part as a response to Zuboff’s. Topics: what is surveillance capitalism; what are the harms of surveillance capitalism; what would a world without surveillance capitalism look like.
