The Guardian's media editor Jim Waterson (@jimwaterson) joins us this week to talk about covering the "Wagatha Christie" trial, and what happens when Barristers working in the highest court of the land, don't understand what posts are, or how to decipher the meaning of a cry-laugh emoji. While the trial was fairly low stakes, Jim talks about how digital media is becoming central to understanding communications and correspondence in courts, and how understanding posts will be fundamental in the access to justice needed for any healthy democracy.
