So often in life, we are passionate about something and we start to explore it then something happens and we let it go and do something else. Whether it's timing, other people's opinions, or something else, many people never follow that passion or dream.
In this episode, Coach Danny Stone has a conversation with award-winning DJ Ritz who talks about his journey as one of Canada's top hip hop and reggae Djs. He shares how he followed his dream and it took him beyond what he thought was possible.
Dj Ritz has an extensive resume, having been in the industry for more than 22 years! He worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment, from Lebron James, Cardi B, Ludacris, Richard Branson, Jazzy Jeff, and Tory Lanez to Wu-Tang, and more. He's worked with the Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays, and many other big brands.
You can currently hear Dj Ritz on various radio stations in Toronto, primarily FLOW98.7FM and he is the resident Dj at Sugar Daddy's Night Club every weekend.
He opens up about growing up not having much, and being raised by a single mom in a diverse neighborhood. He shares how he got exposed to hip hop and reggae music and started djing at a very young age.
If you have a dream or you are searching for more in your life, and you want to do what you love for a living but are unsure if you can make it, listen to this episode.
