The truth that's denied--You are not helping someone when you free them of their responsibility. You are not helping you when you abandon, betray and break promises with yourself.
When we lose ourselves we don't know who we are, what we value, what we need or how to speak up and communicate those needs and desires in healthy and productive ways.
