As our journey through Acts reaches chapter 15 and the famous 'Council of Jerusalem', we see how the early church wrestled with a complex and potentially divisive issue. There is much for us to reflect on as we consider how their solution was less about deciding who was 'right' and more about finding a way for the different sides to stay in relationship together. Jamie uses this as a springboard to consider how we will face the complex debates of our day; how will we honour the wisdom of tradition while making space to see how God may also be doing something new?
