BREAKING NEWS: Vince McMahon Steps Down as WWE CEO, Will Appear On SmackDown Tonight

Following the story published by wsj.com earlier this week regarding an alleged affair and hush money payment made by WWE CEO Vince McMahon to a former office employee, as well as the discovery of multiple NDA agreements regarding alleged misconduct by WWE Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis, Vince McMahon has "voluntarily stepped down" as CEO and Chairman of the WWE Board.

The story continues to develop from there, with the naming of Stephanie McMahon, who stepped away from the company on a personal leave last month being named as Interim CEO and Chairwoman, the revelation that McMahon will continue his creative duties on the road with WWE, and that Vince will also be appearing LIVE on WWE SmackDown Tonight on Fox.
