Basic Instinct is a 1992 Neo-Noir Erotic Thriller film directed by Paul Verhoeven and written by Joe Eszterhas. The film stars Michael Douglas, Jeanne Tripplehorn, George Dzunda, Wayne Knight, and Sharon Stone, in her breakout role. The score was composed by Film Flamer’s favorite, Jerry Goldsmith.
