Outdoors with Roy: Local Artists Help Keep McAllen Beautiful

On this episode of Outdoors with Roy the organization Keep McAllen Beautiful is changing the landscape around McAllen’s Hike and Bike Trails by converting old irrigation pipes to colorful art. This is giving local artists a chance to showcase their work while revealing the city’s rich agricultural history. To this day, some of those concrete pillars continue to regulate flow of irrigation-water to help maintain farmlands.
