As the entourage of people, The party of heroes, and a team of wizards and guards, reach a crevasse that is impassable, and that disappears into the dark mist. Sortek starts to devise a plan to manipulate gravity to pull the group across, but some feel that the single spell may not be enough, and at the last moment the group decides to use one of the items retrieved from Quickthisle, the black pearl that magnifies gravity. As the group is pulled across, something else is pulled out of the mist as well, and it is large, and unhappy about being pulled into the air!
