The Old Testament is not always easy to understand. There are several reasons for this. First, it was written over two thousand years ago. The original audience was a different culture than ours. Also, the Old Testament was written in a different language. This creates challenges when translating. Furthermore, our approach to reading the Bible affects our understanding it. With this in mind, we often miss things that God told us throughout the Old Testament. In this episode, I begin a survey on the book of Genesis by looking at Genesis 1 and 2.
