This week we focus on our calling as Christians to be Future Builders, building God’s Church and the Kingdom of God.
Read 1 Corinthians 3:1-23. After five years with a low-maintenance garden, I am looking forward to getting back to maintaining and improving a lawn and growing plants and flowers. A garden needs health and growth to flourish. So does the Church.
The Church is the Body of Christ, and as a living, breathing organism, it too needs health and growth. God wants to build his Church, to bless it and to grow it. A church is not a building, it’s people. You and I are the Church.
If we are to help build God’s Church and to extend the Kingdom of God, then we must be growing in faith, maturing as Jesus followers, and we must be building people.
We build God’s Church one person at a time. Who are you investing in?
