Easton Chamber Music Festival comes back for its 6th season. ECMF present free chamber music concerts at the Covenant Congregational Church in Easton, located at 204 Central St. On Friday, June 24th our renowned international faculty members from Brazil, France, Russia, and the U.S. perform String Quartet No.2 by African-American woman composer Florence Price and Beethoven’s Septet for clarinet, bassoon, French horn, violin, viola, cello, and double bass. The second concert on Saturday, June 25th, features Piano Quintet No.1 by French woman composer Louise Farrenc and Mendelssohn’s Octet for four violins, two violas, cello, and double bass. ECMF student ensembles present their showcase in the third concert on Sunday, June 26th. The concerts on June 24th and 25th begin at 7:30pm. The concert on June 26th starts at 5pm. ECMF is supported in part by genereous support of Massachusetts Cultural Council (Abington, Easton, Foxborough, Mansfield, Sharon, Stoughton, and Taunton Cultural Councils), Associated Chamber Music Players, Oakes Ames Memorial Hall and Easton Shovel Town Cultural District, Covenant Congregational Church, and members of local communities.
