It's our final part of our Releasing Repressed Emotion & Healing series- where we are taking the steps full-circle and pushing the RESET button as a way to release, relax, and decompress everything that may have come up in the last couple of weeks.
Doing the inner work and allowing yourself to really feel the emotions can be heavy and taxing to your mind and body. Therefore, just like when you do a hard workout; it's important to stretch and relax before moving on to the next thing.
In order to find yourself free of any physical and/or mental symptoms that can occur when we hang onto and work through the hard- you have to release and allow yourself to hit RESET!
We talk about breath work, meditation, getting some fresh air, taking a walk, etc. as ways to help decompress. Asking for help and delegating are also options we discussed that can help.
The important thing to remember is to give yourself ONE MINUTE... if you can give yourself more, even better; however, this is all part of the journey back to you and it's no quick jump. Take it one minute a day, one day at a time and keep coming back to your tools to help guide the way.
