Fear can come at us in unexpected and surprising ways, but most often it exists in a place where things feel uncomfortable. To overcome fear we must face it, we must confront it, and that likely means venturing into a place that we avoid, a place that doesn't feel good... yet.
When it comes to fear we often think of "the big bad monster". It's something that we are terrified of. The big scare. More often though, fear is present in our lives in a very small way. It arrives on our doorstep as an uncomfortable feeling we avoid or don't want to be in. The truth can be this way. Uncomfortable or even, inconvenient. Although, by facing it, by dealing with it, by working with it, we get a handle on it and we can transform from it.
