This week we take a look at the abandoned North Brother Island in NYC. Throughout the late 1800s through early 1900s, the island was home to Riverside Hospital. A hospital used to quarantine patients with contagious diseases and other ailments. With that aside, the island saw its fair share of unfortunate events that took place along it shores. One being the deadliest maritime accident in US history. In addition, this island housed the infamous “Typhoid Mary” until her dying day. With all these factors, it’s no wonder North Brother Island is considered one of the most haunted places in NYC. Join us this week as we take a dive into the lovely East River to examine these claims.
