It's Week 12 of the college football season and the weekend before Thanksgiving ... which is super appropriate because college football is gifting us with a weekend full of #bakedgoods.
(And by that, we mean ... not all that exciting stuff.)
So, this is a great weekend to start your holiday shopping, or start baking or packing ... or whatever you need to do to get ready for the upcoming holiday week.
In order to make this show somewhat interesting, Carla, Crappy, and AJ first discuss the playoff rankings (which actually are kind of interesting) including a shout out to playoff committee friend and Robert Morris University president Chris Howard (go Bobby Mo!) ... and AJ brings us his #Pac12AfterDark report, although none of them are actually "after dark" per se. (We'll look past that this week.)
And ... then we dive into three games that with a bit of luck, a few turnovers, and maybe some teams overlooking opponents *could* be potential upsets. (Not likely, but OK. We're stretching.)
* Navy at Notre Dame (3:30 p.m. ET, NBC): That gosh darn triple-option rears its head again this weekend in the form of the Midshipmen. The Irish got crushed in Miami last week and play at Stanford next week. Trap game? Maybe.
* SMU at Memphis (12 p.m. ET, ESPNNews): This may be the hardest game to find on your television on Saturday, but it bodes to be extremely entertaining.
* Kentucky at Georgia (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS): This is not the pushover Kentucky football we're used to seeing. Georgia still has the SEC East locked up, but a loss here would devastate the Bulldogs' hopes for the playoff.
* There is one college football game that is actually worth watching this weekend and that's Michigan at Wisconsin (12 p.m. ET, FOX) ... Bucky looks to remain undefeated against a Michigan team that would love to play spoiler heading into Ohio State week.
So, that's the slate this weekend. Watch that Big Ten game, and then enjoy whatever else you're doing this weekend. We'll resume our normal programming next week, because rivalries.
