It’s Week 3 of the college football season … and after his Buckeyes’ loss last weekend to Oklahoma, Crappy has turned his attention to baseball.
Yet, somehow, we still find three actual college football games to talk about this weekend.
Tennessee at Florida (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS) — We’re both happy that this game will be played in The Swamp, but not sure either of us is really looking forward to this game. Neither team has truly impressed yet this season. We’ll see if that changes Saturday. (But we’re not holding our breath.)
Clemson at Louisville (8 p.m. ET, ABC) — Can Heisman-winner Lamar Jackson and the Louisville offense figure out a way to overcome the stout Clemson defense that sacked Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham 11 times last week?
Ole Miss at California (10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN) — Probably not a game that has any national implications, but … entertaining as heck? You better believe it. Cal can run; Ole Miss struggles to stop the run. Ole Miss can throw the ball; Cal has issues in the secondary. Our suggestion: Take the over.
So, enjoy the football … or, baseball in Crappy’s case … this weekend. (Go Tribe!)
