The panel of peril have convened at a bucolic country home to watch this week’s film, 2017’s modern masterpiece Get Out. We then try to improve upon the villains’ diabolical plan for the privilege of choosing next week’s film and hosting the pod.
Written and directed by Jordan Peele and starring Daniel Kaluuya, Alison Williams, Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener, Get Out is one of the films that helped popularise the social horror sub genre, and won Peele an Oscar for screenwriting.

The Armitage Family run an unusual business: they harvest and sell African Americans’ bodies in order to cheat death, illness and sundry afflictions. Sending the host’s consciousness to The Sunken Place, this modern-day slave trade has a startlingly long and proud record of success.
