Have you ever dreamed about cycling around the world?
What about doing it with your children?
Well, this is exactly what Paula and Lorenz did. Listen in to hear about their amazing expedition around the world, the causes they champion, and how their family grew closer over the entire experience.
Having set out from Athens on World Asthma Day with tandem bicycles and their two daughters in tow, Paula and Lorenz Eber proceeded on a 480-day cycling journey around the globe that would take them across four continents and a distance of 14,931 km/9332 mi, all while raising $64,416 for asthma and clean air causes.
With rising levels of pollution, the negative effects of climate change, and an increase in health-related breathing problems, the fight for clean air is as important now as it ever has been. Enter Bike for Breath, an organization that aims to inspire others to utilize bicycles as a clean and green method of travel.
