Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The Kingdom of God grows on the earth by making known the Lord Jesus and His teachings. We expand by spreading the message of Jesus Christ.
Three things Jesus told His disciples in His last days on the earth;
1. Soul winning.
2. Instructions concerning the Kingdom.
3. Holy Spirit and His power.
HOLY SPIRIT
1. He is the responds to the prayer of Jesus Christ for the believers. John 14:16-17
2. He is the fulfilled promise of the Father. Luke 24:46. Joel 2:28. Acts 1:4. Matthew 24:14.
What is the ministry of Holy Spirit?
1. He gives boldness to do fearless ministry. Acts 2:1-14. Acts 4:31-33.
The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit is for soul winning and the secondary is the working of miracles.
a. He imparts gifts and calls us into spiritual ministries and offices. 1 Corinthians 12:1-7. Ephesians 4:10-13.
