In this episode, we sit down with Stu Glassborow and talk about how to lead from reflective identity. Stu is the senior leader of Catch The Fire London. Growing up in southeast London, Stu learned from a young age that he had both a natural ability in academics, as well as a great passion for sport, achieving highly in both areas. With his natural rational and logical mindset, he pursued a career as a veterinary surgeon, graduating from University in London. While at university, he had his scientific mindset rocked as he studied the legitimacy of the resurrection of Christ, discovering that the only possible conclusion was supernatural. This led to a salvation based on facts and not relationship. This was, again, challenged when Stu met Chlo. He then began to learn about the reality of a personal relationship with a supernatural God.
In 2003, Chlo’s supernatural testimony shook his foundations further, and invited him into a lifestyle of seeking Heaven on Earth, the desire for God’s Presence, and His transformation in lives and locations. This became the reason he left a successful veterinary career and planted Catch The Fire London. Together, they also founded The Kenyan Children’s Project, which rescues, rehabilitates, and reintegrates extremely vulnerable children into functional, loving, forever families.
