Dr. Sriram Vaidyanathan, a postdoctoral scholar at the Porteus lab at Stanford University, presents results from CFRI-funded research on identifying biomaterials that enable the transplantation of gene corrected airway stem cells to treat CF. He presents findings from experiments transplanting upper airway basal stem cells into immunocompromised mice using fibrinogen-based scaffolds.
