Matthew 6:25–34

Introduction:

Do you have a religious reputation or a real relationship with Jesus?

Faith in God’s purpose and promises overcomes our fears.

1. Calling—to live something greater

Jesus stands in the midst of our fears and call us to a life of faith.

2. Challenge—to look at God’s promises instead of your problems

We maximize our problems and minimize God’s promises.

Psalm 121:4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

3. Confidence—to have enough faith to pursue God’s Kingdom

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
