Jesus came to solve problems. He came to set people free. And he looked at the blind man, in John 9, spat on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” Jesus told him, “Wash in the Pool.” So, the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
In the midst of your trouble. Even in your sin. In your pain, and your suffering. Jesus is the only one in the whole world who take that problem and use it to bring the solution. This man could’ve laughed at Jesus. How is someone supposed to see with mud on their eyes? Yet the man did as Jesus said. His testimony became, 'once I was blind, but now I can see.'
Isn’t that the testimony of all of us? Jesus has redeemed our lives. We may not have been physically blind, but we were spiritually blind, and God restored our sight.
