Featured Musicians: Brain Plasticity Ukulele CollectiveI've been waiting for this week so we can feature Ann Arbor's own Brain Plasticity Ukulele Collective, which is an open community of local musicians aged 35 to Still Younger Than Craig Ross who play like 30 different instruments. These songs are all off an album, Strum Into Cognition, but as you might imagine it's only a tiny sample of what they put out and the real kick is seeing them perform live, though I just missed promoting their Fall Kickoff show at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Song choices:
- "Turned Out Nice Again" (instrumental)
- "Caveman"
- "72nd Time"
Also because Across 110th Street will get our Youtubes taken now now, the opener and outro:
- “The Employee is Not Afraid”—Bear vs. Shark
- “Ruska Vodka”—Motorboat
