The Hoosier Ag Today Podcast for Monday, Sept. 12, 2022:
1.) Grain has been able to leave Ukraine and reach global markets thanks to an agreement signed back in July. But Vladimir Putin is now claiming that Russia has been “cheated” out the deal that was brokered by the U.N. Eric Pfeiffer reports on the U.S. response to the possibility that Russia may end up pulling the plug on that deal.
2.) The month of July was a very good one for U.S. ag exports. Wheat was up eight percent, corn was up 11 percent and soybeans were up 21 percent. But, some commodities were up even MORE than that. You’ll hear that story coming up.
3.) Chief Meteorologist Ryan Martin has your Indiana farm forecast – and Bob Utterback with Utterback Marketing Services has your grain market analysis for the week ahead.
