Teaching Humanity Remotely with Dr. Mindy Shaw
Kids & Family:Education for Kids
In this episode, Dr. Shaw follows up with the second part of her mini-series of podcasts geared to parents who want to "set the stage for success" with their children. Being that it's September and the start of a new school year in many parts of the U.S., Dr. Shaw felt that it was important to share some wisdom regarding how to best approach certain aspects of parenting with preparation. The conversation in this brief podcast is about FRONT-LOADING, a favorite topic of Dr. Shaw's, and here she discusses ways that a parent or an educator can front-load. She delivers some perfect examples of how she did it as a teacher along with ways that a parent can model front-loading for their children. The bottom line is that front-loading means do lots of work at the beginning of a task and one can do less later on.
