G1 Have you ever thought about what is the purpose of wealth? How would you answer the question?
G2 Dan said that wealth is like a video game’s “temporary platform” – it fulfils a purpose for a moment and then it is gone. How can “using our wealth” help us get to heaven? (verse 9) In what way does wealth’s “purpose” eventually run out?
G3 Verse 9: what do you think Jesus means by “make friends for yourself” using worldly wealth? How can you do this?
G4 Verse 11 contrasts “worldly wealth” with “what is genuine”. How is worldly wealth NOT genuine? What do you think the genuine article looks like?
