J-Bunny’s Music Hub Episode 73: John Fattoruso (Black Water Rising, ex-Stereomud, ex-The Pain Method) 8-21-2022
J-Bunny sits down on Skype (while drinking beer from Ghost Hawk Brewing Co, of course) and talks with John Fattoruso guitarist for the band Black Water Rising, and formerly of the bands Stereomud and The Pain Method. They discuss John's journey in music prior to joining Stereomud, including auditioning for Machine Head, playing in a band named Wardance with members of Exodus, and almost playing in Vanilla Ice's touring band for the album Hard to Swallow. They also discuss how Stereomud emerged from the ashes of Life of Agony, their experience working on a song for WWE, and why the band broke up shortly after the release of the album Every Given Moment in 2003. John talks about how he came to join the band Black Water Rising, why he left the band after their first album, and why he decided to rejoin in 2019. John and J-Bunny also discuss how John came to join the band The Pain Method during his hiatus from Black Water Rising, and what ultimately happened with that band. Finally, John talks about other projects that almost happened, and the confusing announcement of Stereomud returning in 2009 (which turned out to be vocalist Erik Rogers' new band Dangerous New Machine).
