#11 Jesus the Bread of Life (John 6:22-59)

The equation for the fruitful Christian is daily reliance on Christ. Christian literally means "little Christ." Anything truly Christian requires Christ's power and love - we cannot muster Christlikeness from our own strength. This humble requirement challenges me. It's easier to rely on my own strength and submit to how much I need Jesus. We are invited into a radical relationship. Instead of covering up our weaknesses, we are invited to showcase them and talk about them with God and see His power perfected in them.
