Welcome to Everyday Happiness where we create lasting happiness, in about 2 minutes a day, through my signature method of Intentional Margins® (creating harmony between your to-dos and your priorities), happiness science, and musings about life.
I'm your host Katie Jefcoat, and today we’re celebrating 500 episodes! It’s crazy to me to think that for 500 consecutive days we’ve been on this happiness journey together. We have a team of women from around the world that shows up in service and support to produce this podcast and get it from my phone where I record in my tiny closet to the internet in a way where you can listen.
We are mission driven to spread happiness and kindness in the world we live in. To positively influence our little bubble around us. One person at a time. To leave the world a better place for the generations that come after us. We are driven to share the message that we can be kind and disagree. That hate has no place in our sphere.
We know from scientific research that when the human collective believes that acting in kindness is the norm, more people will do it and we can make a difference.
We know we can’t change the world - yet. And every day it is more and more clear that we can’t do it alone. As humans, we are not meant to go at this alone. We are designed in our DNA to belong to a community. It’s at the core of our species.
We are inviting you to join a movement that is bigger than yourself. To lean into what feels right in your heart when it often feels like the world is a dumpster fire around us.
We know we need help. It starts with one person spreading kindness, giving a smile to a stranger, sharing gratitude and appreciation.
But here’s the thing, we need you to take action today - so that we can spread more happiness and kindness.
