Often times when recovering from chronic fatigue, people will think with their emotions rather than logic.
The emotional side of their brain can be telling them to push through and work as much as possible, while the logical side of their brain knows they need rest in order to recover. On the other hand, the emotional side of their brain can be telling them all the bad things that can potentially happen in the moment, but logically there's a very slim chance that these things will happen.
