First Jonah is angry about God’s mercy, and now he is angry about a plant! If we are like Jonah, this passage reminds us that most often, we care about ourselves and our comfort. We might even believe God exists to make us comfortable. While God loves us dearly as His children, our comfort is not always His first priority.
