As we begin Chapter 7, we join Nari & the Boys—minus one—as they arrive at last in Almar, the largest city on Pavantis. Reeling from the loss of their dear companion, our heroes set out to get their bearings and begin their search for vestiges of the ancient world, long-hidden beneath the city’s streets. A big city has its big perils, however, and Nari & the (Remaining) Boys must deal with criminal threats, sleepless dreams, the Angel’s influence, and their own pasts catching up to them.
