So many military spouses end up not doing things that align with their talents and passions. They end up working entry level jobs or earning paychecks doing something that doesn’t really light them up.
Today’s guest dreamed of something different. She saw the talent and potential of military spouses and set out to create a platform to highlight what military spouses bring to the table.
In this episode, I chat with Monica Fullerton, an Air Force spouse and the founder of Spouse-ly, an online marketplace offering products from military and first responder family businesses.
Since launching in 2020, Spouse-ly has been featured everywhere from Forbes to CNBC as the go-to hub for shopping with purpose.
We discuss Monica’s journey to entrepreneurship, the challenge of balancing growing a business with mom life (of TWINS), the hard lessons she’s learned along the way, and the difference that her business is making in the lives of so many military spouses.
