What is Serenity?
What allows us to be serene?
What does it have to do with not breaking a bruised reed or quenching a smoldering wick?
What makes us not serene? Is it even possible to be serene in this world of difficulties and tribulations?
What about death?
What can we know about death and dying, and how did the early Christians look at death? Does an understanding of these things help us to become serene?
What does love have to do with it?
How is it relevant for us today?
After the readings for the day, which are separate, this is a talk taken from today's Holy Eucharist Service. Hope you enjoy!
