The Island of the Dolls, Robert the Doll, and the Black-Eyed Children - The Castro Files 10
Welcome to The Castro Files. This week we have 3 stories to share with you. At some point on all of our lives we've played with a common children's toy, Dolls. Dolls can be both fun and cute or terrifying and nightmarish. You decide. Sticking to the theme of kids and nightmares, The Black-eyed Children. If you've never heard the stories of the black-eyed children, it only takes a quick internet search to understand why they are so terrifying. Once invited into your home you may never get rid of them.
Doll Story 1: The Island of the Dolls - The first story is the purported haunted Island of the Dolls located just outside of Mexico City, Mexico. The previous owner, Don Julian, spent 50 years collecting and hanging dolls on the island in an effort to appease the ghost of a child that drowned in the nearby canals.
Doll Story 2: Robert the doll, currently located in Key West, Florida at a local museum, Robert is said to be the most haunted doll in the world. Accidents, injuries, and a plethora of misfortune have been attributed to Robert. The
Black-Eyed Children: If you've never heard the stories, these kids are often described as having no eyes or black holes where a person's eyes should be. They children appear in many stories across England and the United States. Are they really demons, or just a hallucination?
