‘I have often looked around and wondered what else you know I might do. But I have never seen another business that gives me what Thermomix does. I suppose it depends on what you are looking for, but I love working for myself. I love having that control over my time and when I decide to work and what I do, just that flexibility which I said before. You know I can decide, do I need more income? Ok let’s pump this up a little bit more for we need a little more cash in the door. When I have holidays. Thermomix gives us so many other opportunities in terms of earning things as well. Jenny Jefferys was someone who did not believe the Thermomix machine was for her. She knew she could cook for herself and did not need some fancy machine to make life easier and better. But she was eventually dragged along to a Thermomix Demo and she could not actually believe what it did. What she learned from that Demo was you cannot possibly understand what this machine does. You have to see it in motion to truly understand what on earth it can do.

From that Demo Jenny was invited to look at the business side of things. Not someone to just jump in she could not believe the timing and desire she had to be a part of this business. Now ten years on, and a national leader, she realises how incredible this machine and business is.

This podcast is for anyone interested in owning a Thermomix or for those who already have one to understand its amazing qualities and abilities. And this interview may appeal to anyone wanting to start their own business with this amazing direct selling company.

We talk about the business model of Thermomix and the powerful community behind it. Sales was not one of Jenny’s skills and yet what this business has given her is the passion to share this machine and this comes easily and effortlessly. Whether you are an extrovert or introvert this business suits all types. The key is to just get in front of people and letting people know what you are doing.

There is also a personal development element to the business and Jenny has grown as a person in the past decade more than she could ever imagine. There is also an incredible support program for team leaders and an annual conference which brings together all the leaders with guest speakers and learnings.

Using a Thermomix along with Cookidoo (an amazing App) is the ultimate tool to help families shop, plan and prepare delicious, nutritious meals. Giving people the ability to do this is one of her greatest pleasures, teaching them the features and functions and how to make a Thermomix work for them.

Thermomix’s success is all about having the right people in the right place and really good people.

The serviceability of Thermomix is brilliant. This German manufactured product is built to last. It is top of the range helping people to realise you get what you pay for. It can be repaired and serviced easily.

If there is anyone with an objection for the machine Jenny says you just need to get them to SEE it demonstrated. Ask to have a demo and get your dinner cooked for you whilst you learn all about it. You do really have to see it to believe it.

Jenny’s definition of Self Love is looking after yourself. This is different for different people. But it is about taking time out for oneself, like for me to do things like exercise and having time out, and the flexibility to look after yourself. It is knowing there is time for everything.

Her final message is if you haven’t seen a Thermomix you really need to see it. Even if you don’t need one or think you need it just see it in action, it will be for someone you know. When you have one in your kitchen and you need it, it changes your life and it changes so many lives.

Jenny is passionate about cooking food from scratch using basic ingredients, with the least waste, and sometimes growing her own ingredients.  It’s such a pleasure for her to share this with her customers and help them get the most from their Thermomix.

When she was first introduced to the possibility of a Thermomix business she could see how her Bachelor of Education and teaching about food & food production was an obvious progression.  She has been with Thermomix  for 10+ years and is proud to lead a very active and successful team with Consultants ranging from different ages and walks of life.  She even achieved top team in QLD in 2019 with the highest sales.  Jenny supports Consultants to start their journey and build it into a successful business.  Joining team members on our annual reward trip is always the highlight of the year. And being with her team is one of the things she loves the most about this business.
