1) Here is what we know about the book of Revelation: 1) Those that read it are blessed. 2) It has applications to the past, the present, and the future. 3) Those that avoid this book do themselves a disservice. 4) The truths of God speak fresh to every generation because the word of God is alive. 5) God created the universe. Therefore, He can write a book. 2) Who are the people who hold the testimony of Jesus? It is those who “hold the testimony of Jesus.” It is me, it is you, it is those before us, and it is those after us. The critical component is that the testimony is HELD. It is kept. It is worn. It is maintained. It is owned. And it is in the perfect present tense. 3) One of the biggest problems is walking in an appropriate tension between the trials, temptations, testing, and the tempter. Satan gets too much attention from time to time in some churches. Satan receives no attention whatsoever in other churches. The right amount of attention would likely mirror the amount that Jesus gave to the enemy. It’s roughly the same amount that Jesus talked about love.
