Aloha! From Hawaii, to Arizona, and soon Oregon. Megan informs and shares her passion about sustainability and the work she has done with children in various environments. Her work has taken her all around the United States and even New Zealand. Recently working in the mental health world, specifically horticultural therapy with adolescents has gotten her more curious about her adoption and upbringing in the US.
We talk about the beginning stages of searching and in depth about the emotions related to understanding how adoption impacts life. From learning terms and to understanding how mental health of yourself and others has a big impact on who you share your story with, Megan eloquently provides a fresh perspective on talking about your adoption and your story. Megan hopes to also connect with other adoptees to hear your stories. Follow Megan @meganlodon3 and her sustainability blog @outdoorsustyed.
If you would like to share your story please email adoptedbabiesfromchina@gmail.com or @adoptedbabiesfromchinapod on Facebook, Instagram, and @ChineseAdoptPod on Twitter. Thank you for listening!
Also anyone who knows Chinese adoptees and they became a big part of your life, I would love to hear your story too.
