Annie Obasih...Annie’s Gourmet Syrup...The Cooking Without Looking Podcast #ChangingTheWayWeSeeBlindness
Annie Obasih was going blind since birth, but it was when she was about 26 when she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa (RP).
She was worried that she wouldn't be able to support her children if she lost her job because of her visual impairment.
But, after holding major jobs with New York, she retired and started her journey to creating, "Annie's Gourmet Syrup." Annie created flavors that you have never heard of including jalapeno pepper syrup, and she's creating even more even as we speak.
She wants all of us to know that blindness doesn't have to hold people back.
