After Hours 5: Star Wars Visions & Andor Episodes 1-6/ Disney Plus Catch-up Part 1
Finally! The 950 Club finally reviews Star Wars Visions and Andor, part one of our Disney Plus Catch-up. Star Wars Visions, a cultivation of animation studios from Japan and America, is a grand Fantasia like project where it expands the Star Wars Universe further but with it diverse styles and storytelling. From top directors and animation studios like Production I.G, Science SARU and even TRIGGER! It's not only a great introductory for anime but also a great appreciation study as it shows early inspirations of the original trilogy! Part 2 is our review of episodes 1-6 of Andor. Similiar to Visions, Andor goes back to the source of what makes Star Wars special, and further expands the ethos of what the "Wars" in Star Wars is. Edwin, Jamaal and Jack discuss further their love of the show from Diego Luna's honest approach to Cassian Andor to the show's understanding of revolution history and science fiction classics. Just like the good ol' days, the 950 club is staying in overtime with our geek discussions!
