LFPWLI: Anna Seewald, Living Through Loss and Action Steps for Healing
In this episode, Mathew, and Anna discuss how experiencing loss changes who you are, the importance of radical self-care, and how you truly are in control of how you feel. By embracing the power of relationships, being in nature, journaling, and moving her body Anna has developed emotionally flexible, deep empathy, and eternal gratefulness for life.
Anna Seewald was 13 years old when the earthquake struck Armenia killing about 60,000 people, including her mother, cousin, friends, teachers, and relatives. Anna recounts the surreal chaos of the day her life changed forever, how it shaped her views on human nature, and what she has learned about herself in the wake of tragedy.
“There are no sure things in life. It's unpredictable and uncertain. So you have to enjoy and be present here and now, today.”
