In this episode, we're joined by Rebecca Wilks, a Cardiff-based poverty, policing and housing journalist, to talk about Landlord Posting - a genre of online content produced by (or for) Landlords.
Landlord Posting has become a more common feature of social media recently, not least in the wake of the cost-of-living crisis surging, and much of that being centred around the cost of renting and living - as well as a rising number of tragic deaths and hospitalisations directly linked to poor quality housing.
Landlord Posting is then an attempt by Landlords to rationalise, not just their disproportionate level of power, but the foundations its built on. And as they become harder to justify and rationalise, well, the posts become a lot stranger.
This episode serves as an introduction to the topic, and a low-down of the current state of Landlording in the UK, before cracking into the Posts proper in Part 2.
