How Vitamin D affects your hormones, specifically your testosterone levels?
One human clinical study showed that taking about 3500 units of Vitamin D daily, increased total testosterone levels by about 28% and free testosterone by about 23%
My suggestion for most people is to take about 5000 units (125 mcg) of D3 daily, with 50 mcg of Vitamin K2. Both should be taken together to support bone health and healthy calcium absorption.
The reason Vitamin D is so powerful is that it’s not really a vitamin. It’s technically a hormone, a steroid hormone in fact.
Unfortunately, most of us are deficient in Vitamin D.
Trust me when I tell you that you should for sure consider adding the correct dosage and type of D3 + K2 supplementation to your daily diet. Especially if you want a healthy boost in your total and free testosterone levels.
The combination of D3 + K2 is super powerful, healthy, and very inexpensive.
